In 1955, then under the company\'s former name Chema Chemie.
Where is the company's head office?
The head office is in Bonn, whereas manufacturing and research and development are located at the main production site in Hessisch Oldendorf.
What does CC stand for?
CC are the initials of the company\'s former name Chema Chemie. Today most people associate it just with the name Dr. Schutz, especially outside Germany.
Does Dr. Schutz manufacture all its products?
All chemical products are developed and manufactured by Dr. Schutz at the company\'s main production site in Hessisch Oldendorf, Germany. Only machinery and accessories are outsourced under strict quality control.
Is the name Dr. Schutz an invention respectively a brand name?
No, Dr. Schutz is the name of the family owners, who have run the company since the 1960s. In other words, Dr. Schutz exists, in fact three times!
